Prevention MD was founded in 1994 to provide health screenings to individuals and businesses. Since that time, Prevention MD has continuously expanded its products and services to better meet the changing needs and demands of our business clients and the general public.
Prevention MD became a Training Center for the American Heart Association in 2000, allowing us to grow and accelerate in providing CPR & First Aid to our clients. In 2007 we aligned once again with the American Heart Association in the cutting edge technology of providing online courses to local and National customers. We are now a major leader in providing these online courses. Our instructors are professionals, and they are very passionate about providing fun, dynamic courses that give our students the education and confidence they will need in saving a life. All of our instructors are in good standing with the American Heart Association and have liability insurance.
Prevention MD launched Medical Emergency drills in 2009. After listening to overwhelming stories of medical emergencies from our clients on how unprepared they were to deal with an emergency, we felt very strongly that our customers would benefit from targeted scenarios that would provide them with additional skills and coordinated practice drills that go beyond basic CPR/First Aid.
In pursuit of our mission of promoting health and wellness, we offer other additional services such as vaccinations, travel medicine, flu shots and online trainings for child, adult and health care providers, as well as for parents and other guardians.
